The Infiorata in Noto, Sicily: 15.05.2010

There is never a bad time to visit the sublime baroque town of Noto! But if you did need an extra excuse, what could be better than the annual “Infiorata”, when the town’s main thoroughfares become carpeted with floral art…

The festival takes place annually over the third weekend of May (this year the 15th and 16th) and the theme for 2010 was “the colours of music”.

Fittingly, there was also a series of concerts and other cultural events, making the event complete and well worth a visit… As we did!
